I believe that learning a language is not only about memorizing words and grammar rules but also a way to discover a new culture, better understand each other, and feel more confident in a new environment. Russian is a difficult but incredibly expressive language. As a teacher my goal is to help students understand its logic and character, allowing it to become a natural part of their lives.
Over 14 years, I have been teaching Russian as a foreign language to international students, professionals and executives, helping them use Russian at work, in everyday communication, during travels and in professional environments.
I have had the pleasure of working with students with different linguistic backgrounds from European to Asian as well as professional requirements, such as shipping , finance, construction business, engineering such as
Technip Rus, Bonava, and A.P. Moller – Maersk Group, as well as students of academic programs at Saint Petersburg State University and Princeton University in Saint Petersburg.
I hold degrees in Philology and Linguistics from Saint Petersburg State University, specializing in Russian language and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language
My academic career began at Saint Petersburg State
University, where I worked at the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and its Teaching Methodology. I taught students within the Russian Flagship Program and prepared learners for TORFL / TRKI examinations (TRKI-2 and TRKI-3 levels).
Later, as a Senior Teacher of Russian as a Foreign
Language at the Derzhavin Institute, I taught individual and group classes, worked with private and corporate clients, prepared students for TRKI-1 and TRKI-2 examinations, and developed teaching materials and educational programs.
